Royalyn Kay Coakley OBITUARY Royalyn Kay Coakley, born on February 21, 1938, in Rio Blanco County, Colorado, passed away peacefully on April 28, 2024, at the age of 86, at her home in Alpine, Wyoming. Kay, as she was fondly known, was a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend who touched the lives of many with her warmth and kindness. Kay is survived by her four children: Cindy Miller (husband Gordon), Cathy Earnhart (husband Mark), Dan Coakley (wife Debbie), and Ron Coakley. She also leaves behind numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren who cherished her deeply. She was preceded in death by her devoted husband, Lenard “Buzz” Coakley. Kay had a larger-than-life personality and a deep love for Jesus and the Bible, which she shared with everyone she had contact with. Kay’s life was a testament to love, resilience, and family. Her legacy is carried on through the generations she nurtured and inspired. Her memory will forever be etched in the hearts of those who knew her.
